Day three
News on the third day of the New Year can't be called very encouraging. I should say that the TV news and the print news is full of escaped prisoners and smashed trains, and delayed flights, and it seems there's just no space left for good news.However, for all the bad news, there must be good news - like the hundreds of families who are actually relieved and thankful that their loved ones who were on those trains made it through safely; or the fact that the planes which were grounded weren't getting lost over the Indian Ocean or crashing on a rooftop in Calcutta!
